I've bought and used cordless vacuums before but this one is better than any I have ever used. It has lived up to it's advertising claims and so far I can say nothing but good things about this hand vac. If you're planing on getting a hand-held cordless vacuum, for general around the house use, I would not hesitate to reccommend this one. (I read in a review before I purchased mine that it was too loud, well yes, there is an audible resonance, what can you expect, no more than any other I've used). And yes, the brush on the tip easily retracts with a little pressure, but I took advise from a reviewer and placed a rubber-band under its bottom edge and it works just fine. This is a good product.

I purchased this item after reading the rave reviews about the suction power. This handheld vacuum is mediocre at best - with the high price I had higher expectations. I could have bought a $30 one and gotten the same performance. Also, the brush attachment is pathetic and will not stay extended.

Vacuum was as described and very well designed except for two issues.
1) The intake head (for dirt/debris) is too small. It is only about 2" wide. Should be 4"
2) The dirt/debris cannister is too difficult to take off and empty and then put back on.
I would still purchase again, and do think it is a very good HandVac. Just these two issues keept it from being great/fantastic!

I love my Hoover. I bought a Dyson hand held vacuum awhile back. The battery last 5 minutes if you're lucky. This Hoover comes with a lithium battery and last a whole lot longer. I highly recommend. Easy to use and easy to empty. A complement to your upright LINX Cordless sweeper.

This vacuum cleaner is powerful, easy to clean and easy to recharge by taking the battery out and recharge, instead of hooking the whole vacuum cleaner up. There is an indicator on the vacuum cleaner to show what the status of the battery is. In one word, excellent!
