This vac is just ok. This is my third bagless stick vac, I like to use them during the week for a quick once over, because our lab sheds so much. I would say that the battery on this vac lasts much longer than some of the others that I have owned. It picks up a lot of dirt and pet hair, but as with most similar products, it will not suck up cat litter. Emptying the vac is ok. I don't think it is particularly difficult or heavy to support like some people have posted but you do have to balance it on your trash can or empty it in the big trash can outside. I do think it still seems very dirty in the cup and around the filter when you empty it. I almost feel like I need to get the shop vac to clean the inside of the cup and around the filter. Also, I thought I would use the folding feature to vacuum under furniture but I haven't, it works, I just haven't used it much. I do like that the product has a rubber coating around it so it protect furniture. My main concern is that with so much dirt and dog hair staying around the filter and inside I don't think it will last very long but since my husband thinks its a piece of junk and I bought it off the internet, I'm hoping it lasts for at least a year so I don't have to hear, "I told you so."

Heavier than I thought 10 lbs would be. Awkward to empty the dust/dirt. Does do well on floors & rugs/carpet for an in-between vacuum but does not get edges as well as I hoped. I have only used a few times but the battery seems to charge ok (had read some complaints). I bought this for a quick pick up & to use on the patio rug where I don't use my house vacuum. It does bend easily going under things but still doesn't get the edges. I have mostly wood floors and have to be careful when releasing to open - it pops open & will make dents in wood floors.

I am actually sorry I got this. It is, IMO, quite heavy for a cordless vac to do pick ups with. I have a Eureka Quick Up cordless that is half this weight. It is so easy to maneuver.

This has somewhat more suction and contains more in the cup, but it is not worth twice the money and weight. I do like the charger base.

The folding design is great for space, but makes using it awkward. With the Quick Up I could just grab and go.

Does well on floors and rugs. I like the switch to turn the brushes on and off. The only issue is that it is difficult to remove the filter and not get dirt all over the place. Sort of defeats the purpose of vacuuming. Need to remove it over a garbage pail but it is cumbersome.

This vacuum has great suction. I bought it primarily for my two vehicles. While I'm pleased with the performance, I'm not thrilled with the battery life. Used on a compact car with a full charge, I can complete the seats, front carpet, and half of the rear carpet before the battery drains completely. I realize it might be a little overly-ambitious to expect enough juice to complete both cars between charges, but I think it's within reason to expect it to last long enough to complete one car. This thing also makes a pretty good amount of noise during use. The neighbors will definitely know when you're vacuuming your car, so choose the time of day accordingly. Other than the noise and short battery life, I'm very pleased with the performance, especially for spot-cleaning around the house.

Balls of dust just seem to appear out of nowhere in my room.

I don't know where they come from. My computer fan is partially responsible.

While before this would fill me with chagrin, now it just gives me an opportunity.

The dust buster just makes dust vanish. The motor is extremely strong; I usually

can just use the half-power mode.

The only thing that would improve this device is making the capacity larger,

without significantly altering its current handy size. This may not be physically possible.

Have just recently installed the first of these bags, and have not yet replaced it, but the small tab for covering the opening after removal is a nice addition (this is not present on Hoover bags, and if functional should allow me to toss the bag directly into my trash can rather than having to bag it first to keep the dirt inside).

You'd think that finding bags for the popular Hoover Wind Tunnel Vacuum Cleaner would be a snap, but that's not the case. About a year ago I searched all over and finally found them at Sears. To top it off, they were real expensive. Well, this year I ran out again and it became an emergency. My wife said to check the Vacuum cleaner bag as she thought it was probably full. I checked and, sure enough, it was almost full. Well, we had a party coming up that night and a lot of housekeeping to do in a short time. I tried a few places and no Type Y bags. One store carried them, but was temporarily out. OK, I just continued to vacuum with a full bag and finally got the job done in time for the party.

The next day, when cleaning up, I found a few new bags at a True Value Hardware Store. Well, the vacuum bag was not only full, the hose was full almost half way. Groan. Never again. It was then that I thought of the internet for bag shopping. Sure enough, all kinds were available on Amazon and the price was right. Kiss my vacuum bag problems goodbye! Why didn't I think of this before?

You could say dirty floors are my pet peeve. With that stated, I also say this vacuum is a great value. I have had this vacuum for about 8 months and now use it as my main push vacuum (I also use a Roomba). It is easy to maneuver, cleans the carpet well, and is lightweight enough to use on stairs. In addition to the Hoover Tempo and Roomba, I also have a 15 year old Hoover WindTunnel which is too heavy for me to use on stairs and a 6 year old Kenmore Elite Canister vacuum (rated a best buy in Consumer Reports when I purchased it) which does not pick up dust and dirt as well as this Hoover Tempo.

I have a lot of tile in my home. The Hoover Tempo tends to sling as much of the dust and dirt as it picks up when I run it on the tile. So I use the Roomba instead.

As a busy mom, I do delegate chores to my kids. Vacuuming is one of the easier chores I delegate. My kids tend to be rough on vacuums. My Kenmore Elite Canister vacuum has been "broken" by my son several times - requiring several hours of repair by a disgruntled husband. This Hoover Tempo however has been used by my kids since we got it and is still working perfectly.

The cord is a little shorter than most and that can be a nuisance. I either change electrical sockets frequently or add and extension cord. Problem solved.

I love this so much that I bought two, one for the front of the house and one for the back. It really does a good job picking up dirt and dust and small particles. I have birds and dogs and when people come over, they don't know unless I tell them. I have to vacuum every day so that bird dander does not build up and it even picks up feathers. It's small and compact and you don't always have to pull out the heavy duty vacuum all the time. It's easy to store, out of the way when you have company. This product is a good buy. It works flawlessly to pick up an amazing anmount of dust and cat hair. I don't use my much more expensive Miele cannister vac nearly as often because the Eureka Quick Pick Up is so efficient. I would highly recommend this gem for those looking for a lightweight, easy to operate (though a bit noisy) vac that will do a good job of cleaning your floors daily. A big plus, too, is that it's bagless as well as cordless. If those are your needs, this is the product.

I've read the reviews that people are leaving for this vacuum and notice that the majority of them are short term owners. Sadly by the 3rd month, they will realize that this vacuum will only be good as a prop. Battery life is horrible and suction power is nonexistent. If you only care about moving dust around your floor and not picking it up, then this vacuum is for you. The barely existent suction power is further exacerbated by the fact that if you do not empty the dust cup before and several times during vacuuming, the suction power is 0. I live in a small one bedroom apartment, not a huge house. This vacuum was the worst investment I have ever made in cleaning appliances. save yourself the headache and get a decent CORDED vac.

I love, love, love this vacuum. Easy and quick to use- in a busy house where kids are taking up time, this vacuum is easy to whip out and use. The quick removal of the handheld is convenient as well. The bagless part is also easy to clean. I love the orange color and the retro looking appearance of this vacuum. It is quiet too. The only slight negative is that the hand held doesn't seem to suction/suck as well as others might because of how it fits into the full size vacuum, but it works fine. This vacuum is great for kitchen and hard surfaces. Probably wouldn't work very well on a plush carpet.

I bought this after loving and then being disappointed with my Swivel Sweeper, which scratched up my hardwood floors and is put together cheaply. So second time around I went for something a little more expensive, hoping that it would be a better product and engineered to last. This vacuum seems to fit the bill in many ways.

THE GOOD: It appears to be well made and durable, with the parts fitting perfectly together and nice details that show that there was serious time put into the development of it. I LOVE the fact that the head swivels around (not a 360 like the Swivel Sweeper, but it does move nicely). Emptying the debris is a total breeze, and it easily snaps in and out. The weight on it actually feels good -- like it's sturdy -- but it's not at all cumbersome or heavy. I use it often and have never run out of power, so it seems to have a good charge. It does a good job picking up along the edge of the wall. The built-in hand vacuum option is really nice for getting into corners, doing detail work along the walls, cleaning up the stairs, chairs, etc. You just push the two release buttons on the sides and the hand unit pops off the front.

THE BAD: I wish it would stand up on it's own. It was designed to stand up on the charging unit, which is great for charging, but I I wish I could stand it up on its own without the unit. I wish the head was a little larger because I find that to do my entire upstairs with hardwood takes a while. Finally and MOST importantly, I wish it had better sucking power. It does a pretty decent job at picking up little crumbs, dirt, etc., but has a difficult time picking up larger objects like a Cheerio. Sometime it goes straight over the top of an object or pushes it around in front of it and sometimes it flings junk out behind it. It also sometimes has trouble getting little crumbs out of the grout.

Overall I am happy with it. If the suction was greater I would be thrilled, but I suppose if you have reasonable expectations about the abilities of a cordless vacuum you'll like it too.
